When I was asked to do some paintings for the Museum / Hotel “Meilenstein” in Langenthal / Switzerland, it was the obvious choice to start with a “Three Times xxx” motive.
I went for the most successful and iconic Swiss Formula drivers, Jo Siffert, Clay Regazzoni and Marc Surer in the cars, they were most successful with. Again the flag had to come into the background and their names written in big bold letters above the cars.

The original painting was placed at the entrance to Jo Vonlanthens exceptional collection of Formula One cars at “Meilensten” and it stood there for about 15 months before it was sold.
